We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team and help us expand our reach in the agricultural sector.
Job Description
As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Promoting and selling farm inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, tools, etc.) to farmers and agricultural businesses.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Conducting sales pitches, demonstrating products, and providing technical advice on farm inputs.
- Collecting sales data to support business decisions.
- Attending agricultural fairs, exhibitions, and community events to promote our products.
- Assisting in the preparation of sales reports and customer feedback.
Qualification
- At least Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and farm inputs is an advantage.
- Proactive, motivated, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English language with computational skills.
- Good negotiation and customer service skills.
