Experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver Needed
Location: Kingswinford
Pay Rate: £13 - £14 per hour, depending on experience
About the Role:
Modern Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Road Sweeper Driver to join our client in Kingswinford.
This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art road sweeping technology and contribute to maintaining cleanliness and safety across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate road sweeping vehicles to clean roads, pavements, and other areas.
Utilize high-pressure hand lance jet wash and adjustable pressure underbody water jet systems.
Perform gully sucking to remove blockages and maintain drainage systems.
Complete "Back-to-Black" cleanups post-groundwork on construction sites.
Ensure car parks, forecourts, and industrial/commercial properties are kept clean and safe.
Respond to emergency call-outs and provide rapid clean-up services.
Conduct scheduled maintenance for regular clients.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, wearing full PPE and maintaining relevant qualifications.
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 license with experience operating road sweeping vehicles.
Previous experience in road sweeping or similar roles.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
