Experienced Pub Management Couple Wanted – Lake District Village Inn
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced management couple to take the reins of a well-established, traditional village inn in the heart of Threlkeld, at the foot of the northern fells.
This characterful, food-led pub is popular with locals, walkers and visitors alike, offering a warm welcome, quality home-cooked food and a well-run bar. We are seeking a proven Chef and Front of House Manager partnership who can work together to run the business as if it were their own.
The Roles
Together, you will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operation of the pub, including:
Delivering consistently high standards of food and service
Full kitchen management, including menu development and strong kitchen margin control
Bar management, including stock control, ordering and GP management
Staff recruitment, training, supervision and rota management
Compliance with all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
Planning and delivering pub events to drive trade year-round
Local marketing, promotions and community engagement
