So our allegations are unfounded and lies?? Is this the same as earlier yesterday when Barclays said it hadn’t sold us swaps? Then were forced to admit they had!
Or are we wrong to interpret the ring fencing of our cash, returning of £380k of legitimate cheques we issued (with funds to support), blocking £600k of billing that had always been paid for the last 10 years, paying their own bills for £85k and telling us who we could and could not pay? Even if they are using Bob’s old calculator left on his empty desk this is a lot of changes when they promised none to the FSA over mis-selling.
So yes we stand by our information, over £1m of variance, miss-sold swaps, and high handed actions and now more lies to compound the situation. Starting to sound familiar??
We are happy to do a live meeting with Barclays and show them their own emails and actions. Can they face that?
Ok so what about the 250 jobs? Where is that on your balance sheet?
Lets look at the comment that our business was insolvent? Read the auditors note, yes its clear the company needed as it always had the ongoing support of the shareholders. This was always given and understood. The note was only placed on the accounts once the bank had made its intention clear!!!
Barclays in fact took the shareholders into a room and extracted a six figure sum from them without any advise being allowed!
The shareholders made available over £1m of assets to support the business if needed.
The sales were at a record high for August, September and October.
The only insolvent element was the bank!!
What do we want to do as a society? Allow the banks to run our lives? Does that sound right? What about the bank as part of our society? Do we believe they will get there through lawyers, accountants and bankers?...........
Most importantly is to say a huge thank you to our staff for turning up even though they know they may not get paid, our suppliers who have called and offered support and our clients who have shown great loyalty with payments and more work!
From horrible situations comes great dignity and humanity. I’m guessing the bank wont feel this even when we all saved them!
