Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for a Compliance & Vetting Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis, supporting a busy recruitment project over the Royal Mail peak period.

📍 West Bromwich
💷 £13.33 per hour
📅 10-week temporary contract
🕗 Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
🚀 ASAP start

We're looking for someone who is organised, computer literate and has excellent attention to detail.

You'll be responsible for helping candidates progress through the vetting and compliance process, including:

🔹 Processing and updating candidate information
🔹 Checking documentation and information
🔹 Completing vetting and compliance checks
🔹 Identifying missing or incorrect information
🔹 Updating candidate records
🔹 Liaising with the recruitment team
🔹 Working to deadlines and project targets
🔹 Handling confidential information

What we're looking for:

✅ Excellent attention to detail
✅ Good computer skills
✅ Organised and methodical
✅ Comfortable working with a high volume of administration and data
✅ Able to follow processes and meet deadlines
✅ Reliable and professional
✅ Good communication skills

Previous experience in administration, recruitment, compliance, vetting or data entry would be an advantage, but it's not essential as full training will be provided.

🔧 Production Fitters Wanted – Tipton 🔧

Are you looking to join a skilled team within a growing and successful company? Pertemps are currently recruiting Production Fitters for an exciting opportunity based in Tipton.

As a Production Fitter, you'll play a key role in assembling high-quality products and ensuring production standards are met.

✅ What you'll be doing:
• Assembling mechanical components
• Installing hydraulics and other mechanical systems
• Carrying out in-line quality inspections throughout the assembly process

✅ What we're looking for:
• Experience working with mechanical hydraulics
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering
• Familiarity with air, electrical and manual tools
• Forklift Truck Licence (advantageous but not essential)

🕒 Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish!)

💷 Pay & Benefits:
• £12.74 per hour
• Rising to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period
• Monthly shop floor bonus when production targets are achieved

Earlier this week I shared an update on our Easter Egg Appeal and promised I’d be back with photos once the deliveries were done… and I’m so pleased to say the final eggs have now been delivered.

It has been an absolute pleasure visiting the hospitals and charities we’re supporting this year and dropping off the final donations. Knowing these will now be shared with children and families over the Easter period makes it all so worthwhile. 🥰

From what started as a small idea back in 2023, to delivering over 1,000 eggs and gifts this year, it’s been amazing to see how much this appeal has grown.
Every single donation has played a part in making this possible.

A huge thank you again to all of our incredible clients, contacts and supporters who contributed. Your generosity means so much and continues to make this appeal bigger every year. We simply couldn’t do it without you. 💜

🐣💛 From a small idea to something amazing…

In 2023, we started our Easter Egg Appeal at Pertemps West Bromwich with a simple aim. We wanted to collect a few Easter eggs to donate to local hospitals and charities and bring a little bit of joy to children and families who might be spending Easter in difficult circumstances.

What started as a small idea has grown more than we ever expected 😍

Here’s how the appeal has grown over the years:

💜 2023 – 200 Easter eggs
💛 2024 – 498 Easter eggs
💚 2025 – 752 Easter eggs
💙 2026 – Over 1,000 Easter eggs and gifts collected!! Our biggest year yet and a record-breaking achievement! 🎉

Last year was our biggest year with 752 eggs, and I remember thinking how incredible it would be if we could one day reach 1,000. I never imagined we would get there so quickly, but this year we absolutely smashed that goal!!

Seeing the appeal grow like this makes me unbelievably proud and honestly quite overwhelmed. The generosity and kindness from our clients, contacts and community has been incredible, and we could not have done this without you!

Last week was a busy one for the team, travelling around collecting donations and quite literally playing Tetris trying to fit hundreds of eggs into our cars. It was chaotic but a lot of fun and a great reminder of how many people had got behind the campaign.

This week is all about delivering the eggs to the hospitals and charities we are supporting this year and helping bring a little Easter cheer to the children and families they care for.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported the appeal. Your kindness really does make a difference. 💜
