Confidence can be a funny thing.

Sometimes it’s bravado. You show up and put yourself out there even when you don’t feel confident in the moment.

Sometimes you feel completely solid in your capabilities.

Sometimes, imposter syndrome creeps in.

We’ve been reflecting on confidence within business recently, and this quote struck a deep chord for two reasons.

A) A bit of anxiety is okay. It often means we care deeply and are stretching ourselves.

😎 Discomfort does not mean incapable. It usually means we are doing something meaningful.

As founders, the challenges we feel are not failures or weaknesses. They can be signals that we are moving forward, not just spinning wheels.

Here’s to being purposeful, courageous, and willing to be uncomfortable.

Recruiters don't find jobs for candidates.
They find candidates for jobs.

The job hunting landscape has changed. If you're job-hunting, I don't suggest you wait for a Recruiter to find a job for you.

Recruiters will be focused on the roles they are currently working. If your skills match the roles they have, they will engage. If not, they will focus on other candidates.

Unfortunately it's a numbers game. It's tough looking for a role. You have to do the hunting.
