Maternity Nurse Required – Wilmslow

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is looking for a highly experienced, kind and professional live-in maternity nurse to support a lovely family in Wilmslow as they welcome their first baby at the end of July.

This is a 24/5 live-in role, working Monday to Friday, with a 4-hour break factored into each 24-hour period.

Start date: 31st July 2026
Location: Wilmslow
Booking length: 4–8 weeks
Rate: £400–£450 per 24 hours, depending on experience

The family are looking for someone calm, reassuring and knowledgeable who can offer both expert newborn care and gentle mother care following a Caesarean section.

The role will include supporting with breastfeeding, baby care, feeds, winding, settling, safe sleep, overnight support and helping first-time parents feel confident during those early weeks.

Applicants must have strong newborn experience, ideally 10+ years’ maternity nurse experience, excellent references, up-to-date paediatric first aid and a current DBS.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced maternity nurse who enjoys supporting new parents with warmth, confidence and professionalism.

This week is Learning Disability Week, and this year’s theme, ‘Do You See Me?’, is a powerful reminder that people with learning disabilities deserve to be seen, heard, valued and included in every aspect of society.

A learning disability affects the way a person learns, understands and processes information throughout their life. It can impact everyday activities and the level of support someone may need. You can find more information on the NHS website: NHS Learning Disabilities Information

It’s important to understand that autism is not a learning disability. However, around half of autistic people may also have a learning disability. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental condition that affects how people communicate, interact, learn and experience the world around them.

Learning disabilities can take many forms. One of the most common is dyslexia, which can affect reading, writing and spelling skills.

This week is an opportunity to listen, learn and celebrate the unique strengths and experiences of people with learning disabilities.

Urgent Maternity Nanny Role – Cambridge

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is looking for a highly experienced maternity nanny for a family based in Cambridge, with an immediate/very soon start.

This role is supporting first-time parents who are looking for calm, reassuring and knowledgeable maternity support. The family would really benefit from someone confident with newborn care, safe sleep guidance, feeding support and helping parents build confidence in the early weeks.
5 nights a week for 1-2 weeks ( Can be flexible)

Please only apply if you have:

* A minimum of 10 years’ maternity nurse experience
* A recognised maternity nurse qualification
* Excellent newborn experience
* Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
* Paediatric First Aid
* Excellent recent references
* A calm, kind and professional approach
* Availability to start very soon

This would suit a warm, gentle and highly experienced maternity nanny who can offer practical reassurance and confident guidance.
