New role: Malmesbury area, Technical/Engineering Sales Admin. in the region of £35K

The purpose of the role will be to support the technical and engineering sales team in producing quotations, processing sales orders and supporting both existing and potential clients .

Due to location, you will need your own transport. This is a 100% office-based role.

The role will be varied and will involve:

• Directly handling sales enquiries: logging enquiries, responding by email and telephone, extracting further information from the client
• Supporting overseas clients and colleagues
• Handling spare parts enquiries
• Completion of quotations
• Processing complex sales orders using SAP
• Preparation of invoices using Sage Accounts
• Handling courier and shipping documentation

The right candidate must have the following skills and attributes:

• Organised & efficient
• Proven track record of building relationships
• Experience within a technical/engineering role would be preferred
• Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• French language capabilities is a bonus – but not essential

In return:

• Salary in the region of £35K depending on experience
• Hours of work 8.00am – 5.00pm Mon-Thurs ; - 4.00pm Fri
• 20 days holiday + 1 day up to 25 per year (+ bank holidays)

This is a lovely opportunity and would suit someone looking to get out of retail or hospitality and into their first office based role.

Main responsibilities once trained:

• Take incoming customer orders over the phone and email
• Processing orders onto bespoke system
• Build relationship with customers supporting them with any order or product queries
• Adding new customers onto the in-house system
• Updating & maintaining the customer contact system (CRM)

Experience and skills required:

• Experience of working in a Customer Service Team
• Computer literate, knowledge of Sage, CRM and Excel would be an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise

New role: Assistant Financial Controller R.W.Bassett C£50k

Due to continued growth my client based in Royal Wootton Bassett are recruiting an Assistant Financial Controller to join their management team.

The Assistant Financial Controller will support the companies day-to-day finance operations, including processing transactions, updating financial records, managing debtors, creditors, payment runs and support the Finance Director and the wider Finance Team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent organisation skills, and great attention to detail. The role will involve heavily supporting the Finance Director, in a rapidly growing company, and will play a key part in providing financial insights and maintaining strong internal controls.

This role is 100% office based.

Day to day tasks will include:

• Bank Reconciliations
• Reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
• Production of monthly statements to Customers
• Credit Control
• Creating applications for applying for payment certificate for building contractor funds to be released
• Liaise with Internal and External personnel to resolve queries
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Management of the monthly purchase order accruals
• Supplier Payment runs
• Support and mentor finance team members
• Manage accounting operations – accounts payable & accounts receivable
• Updating and maintaining Supplier and Customer records
• Support, develop and maintain internal control systems
• Other general finance assistance as required to support the company and the Finance Director

The right candidate will have the following experience and knowledge:

• 5-10 Years of Finance Experience
• Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others
• Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with Excel
• Flexible, Reliable, Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
• Understanding of Finance Software Packages
• Well organised and good time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

In return:

My client a growing business based centrally in Royal Wootton Basset, is recruiting a Customer Service Assistant to join their friendly team. The role is varied and busy, they are looking for someone happy to muck in wherever needed from working with their customers to supporting the warehouse when needed.

Once trained the key responsibilities will include:

• Providing a high standard of customer service to all customers.
• Responding to incoming sales queries via phone, online or email.
• Promptly resolving any issues as they arise.
• Maintaining knowledge of current inventory and product offerings.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers.
• Processing all Royal Mail and Courier claims.

100 % office based, in Swindon.

My client the largest independent company of its kind in the UK, is recruiting a Senior Customer Support Administrator. This role is vital to the smooth running of their busy sales office.

The job involves working closely with both external customers and internal departments, you will be the central point for all aspects of each order. Working from the outset of enquiry from supporting the sales team with facts and figures through production to delivery. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

The role will involve:

• Responsible for all incoming enquiries from new and existing customers, ensuring a high standard of service is always given
• Support the sales team in preparation of customer quotations.
• Apply solid numerical skills to pricing, including percentages, volumes, and other key calculations
• Take ownership of following up quotations, helping to move opportunities forward
• Act as the first point of escalation for customer queries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining strong relationships
• Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers on specifications, pricing, and suitable options
• Take ownership of each order from processing to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all stages.
• Purchasing of external parts as required
• Oversee the handling and dispatch of customer samples, ensuring requests are fulfilled promptly
• Work closely with internal departments, including the factory, the warehouse and transport, to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery
• Proactively manage customer expectations, particularly where delays or issues arise
• Liaise with external agencies and suppliers to support operational requirements

Candidate must have:

• Proven track record of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances

In return:

• Salary up to £35K dependant on experience
• Hours of work Monday to Friday 830am – 5pm
• 25 days holiday
