My husband sent me this photo of an old friend he came across in the mountains yesterday.

It made me smile and I found myself thinking about it today.

An ibex negotiating their way around their mountains is mostly a confident, surefooted and experienced display. However you can also see a vulnerability.

Perhaps the ibex here is similar to our career returners. Experienced in their familiar surroundings but perhaps a little anxious about their situation and need others to respect their vulnerability and provide a safe environment to allow them to thrive.
