🔒 Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025 – For Information Only Draft was Released in July 🧒🏽📘

The DfE has released the 'for information only' version of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, ahead of the final statutory guidance due in September 2025.

Key updates to be aware of:

✅ Greater focus on filtering & monitoring – particularly with online safety and emerging AI risks.
✅ Clearer guidance on harmful sexual behaviour – including how schools should respond.
✅ Stronger safeguarding expectations in out-of-school settings – e.g. wraparound care.
✅ Updated guidance on attendance & children missing education – in line with national priorities.
✅ Reinforced expectations around staff training and reporting – with emphasis on DSL roles.

⚠️ This version is not yet statutory but is a useful resource for preparing policy updates and training for the new academic year.

Heart Teaching is excited to be working with a specialist SEND school in Lingfield, Surrey, and we're looking for compassionate, committed Learning Support Workers to join their incredible team from September 25. 🌟

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm | Term Time Only (39 weeks)

This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive and dynamic environment, working with children and young adults aged 5-25 with complex needs such as Autism, Epilepsy, and Severe Learning Difficulties.
