We've said it before and I'm about to say it again.

Such a shame.

That was feedback that Glyn received from one of our customers about a sales candidate who was interviewed last week.

The candidate is really great guy, with good experience, a proven history and he had all the right skills.

Glyn really liked him.

However, when he walked into the interview, he changed.

He became over-confident and strayed from being confident into being cocky. He came across as the type of salesperson that nobody wants, and few would buy from.

There’s sometimes a fine line between being confident and being cocky during an interview, and with nerves and a bit of pressure on yourself it’s easily done.

The candidate was humble in receiving Glyn's feedback and was far from being cocky. As our client said, it’s a shame.

Sometimes a different person rocks up on the day of the interview.
