Oleeo is coming!

From 12 October 2026, we’re moving from Trac to Oleeo, our new recruitment system.

So, what does this mean for candidates?
✨ New NCA vacancies will be managed through Oleeo and advertised through our usual channels.
📱 Oleeo will provide a simpler, more user-friendly and mobile-friendly application experience.
💬 You’ll receive clearer updates and communication throughout the recruitment process.

Already applied for a role through Trac? Don’t worry! Recruitment activity already underway in Trac will continue during the transition.

September was another busy month for recruitment across the Northern Care Alliance!

Here’s a look at what we achieved:
📥 8,448 job applications received
📢 639 vacancies posted
🤝 353 job offers made
🎉 390 confirmed start dates
⭐ 95% of our new starters rated their recruitment experience as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’.

💬 We’re also proud to receive feedback such as:

Our July recruitment figures are in📊

July was another busy and successful month for our Recruitment team! From new vacancies and job offers to confirmed start dates, here’s a snapshot of what we achieved:

📥 8,677 job applications were received
📢 741 vacancies were posted
🤝 609 job offers were made in July - 264 more than in June!
🎉 428 confirmed start dates
⭐ 100% of new starters rated their recruitment experience as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
👩‍⚕️ Nursing and Midwifery had the largest professional intake during the month

And we couldn't talk about our recruitment activity without celebrating our team and the difference they make. Here’s some brilliant feedback recently received about one of our Senior Resourcing Officers, Sharron:

“I really want to celebrate Sharron. Not only is Sharron a lovely person to work with, but she has just been brilliant at progressing actions quickly and efficiently, communication has always been quick, and she has and is just continuously supportive and positive whilst I recruit for two roles.”

The increase in vacancies, offers and confirmed start dates highlights the continued hard work of our recruitment team in helping candidates move through the recruitment journey and join our workforce.

We're looking for a qualified Health Visitor to join our developing SEND Health Visiting Team in Bury.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to manage a specialist caseload, providing enhanced, child-centred support for children with additional needs and their families. You'll work closely with partner agencies, schools and multidisciplinary teams, helping to safeguard vulnerable children, support transitions and improve outcomes.

With a smaller caseload, you'll have the time to build meaningful relationships, deliver personalised care and share your specialist knowledge to support the wider Health Visiting service.

Come with us behind the scenes at our Biomedical Scientist recruitment day 👩‍🔬🧪

We recently welcomed candidates to a dedicated recruitment day, designed to showcase more than what can be captured in an online application.

From team activities and a technical assessment to interviews and a tour of our laboratories, candidates had the chance to get to know our teams, experience our working environment and share their skills and knowledge throughout the day.

The event was a great success and we're pleased to have successfully recruited to our Biomedical Scientist vacancies.
