This position is for evenings (4pm - 10pm) and weekend shifts.

We are looking for a compassionate, flexible person to work part time hours covering the Shanklin area, so use of a vehicle is essential.

Shifts will cover both mornings and afternoons with least 2 evenings a week, plus something every other weekend - min 16 hours a week.

You will help vulnerable people - elderly, physical and learning disability, retain their independence within their own homes, all aspects of support from washing to shopping to trips out.

Qualifications and experience are welcomed, but not essential. However, empathy, compassion and values are.

Kind, reliable people to work weekend part time hours, in a large dementia friendly home in Ryde. All aspects of care, including personal care and social interactions.

Working hours pattern is 21 hours one week, 14 hours the following week. Week 1 and 3 late Sat and Sun, week 2 and 4 late Fri and Sat, early Sun.

Rate of pay £8.21 (Fri), £9.03 (Sat) and £9.85 (Sun) to increase from 1st of April.

Experienced, forward thinking, committed registered manager required to manage a 25 bed Residential home in Ryde providing high quality care.
The RM is instrumental in the effective running, so will lead by example being pro-active, supportive and flexible. You will have excellent communication skills to maintain a good open working relationship with all staff members residents, their families and visiting professionals.
Ideally qualified with Health and social care diploma 5, or happy to work towards it, you will have strong knowledge of CQC’S fundamental standards and the care act as well as relative legislation to maintain compliance and the KLOES, promoting and delivering person centred care.
The post is full time with a rota based on call, and subject to an enhanced CQC DBS.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
