This week, our workplace is proud to be supporting Breast Cancer Now and the Wear It Pink campaign.

Our team will be adding a splash of pink to our working week to help raise awareness and show our support for everyone affected by breast cancer.

It’s wonderful to see our colleagues come together for such an important cause - because every bit of support helps. 💕🌸

Bonfire Night is approaching - is your dog ready? 🎆

For millions of dogs, fireworks can turn a night of celebration into a stressful experience, but a little preparation now could make a big difference to helping your dog feel calmer 🐾

63% of the UK’s dogs experience firework anxiety.
43% of owners do nothing to prepare their dogs, simply "hoping for the best"
35% of owners don’t know that dogs can be gradually desensitised to fireworks.

The good news? There’s still time to help get your dog ready.

We’ve launched the National Fireworks Archive - the UK’s first free, crowd-sourced desensitisation training tool for dogs. Using real fireworks footage, alongside expert advice, it can help you gradually introduce your dog to the sounds of fireworks.

Is your dog scared of fireworks? 🎆

Don’t wait until Bonfire Night - a little preparation can make a big difference.

1. Gradually introduce fireworks sounds at a very low volume.

2. Make it positive – pair the sounds with treats, food or something your dog loves.

3. Build up slowly – only increase the volume while your dog remains relaxed.

4. Be patient – Take it slowly; this can take weeks or months.

🐶🎀 Fundraising, community and an incredible stand at DogFest! 🎀🐶

Our fundraiser Steve B is at DogFest supporting Breast Cancer Now, helping to raise awareness and vital funds for people affected by breast cancer.

And just look at that stand! 😍🎀 Steve has done an incredible job creating such a fantastic and eye-catching space. It looks amazing and is the perfect place to welcome visitors, start conversations and help spread the word about this important cause.

With dogs, supporters and plenty of fundraising spirit, it’s wonderful to see Steve out there making a difference. 💕🐾

What incredible news 👏

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been chosen as the first charity partner to help deliver the Renewed Women’s Health Strategy, working with the Department of Health and Social Care - DHSC.

Our partnership will support women across the country to spot the signs and know where to turn to for help at every stage of their breast cancer journey.

We have 3 clear aims to help women spot breast cancer sooner:

To make regular breast checking a habit, and to give women the information they need to recognise the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and know where to go if they notice anything unusual.

To support women finishing primary breast cancer treatment with the information they need to spot the signs of breast cancer coming back.

To provide women with easily accessible, trusted health information at every stage of their breast cancer journey.

Together, we’ll make greater progress, faster. Getting our information and awareness campaigns in even more places, and reaching even more people. So we can make sure every woman gets the information and support to spot breast cancer sooner, and we get closer to the day when everyone with breast cancer lives and lives well.

Today, we’re introducing you to Ashleigh, who has been part of our team for an incredible 5 years! 🎉

As a member of our Field Support team, Ashleigh has a varied role that helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She looks after hotels, fleet management, invoicing, new starter set-ups and reporting, as well as supporting our social media and communications.

It’s a role that takes organisation, attention to detail and the ability to juggle plenty of different priorities - and Ashleigh does it all while helping support colleagues across the business. 👏

At Charity Link, we’re proud to fundraise in support of some incredible animal charities, including Cats Protection, Battersea, Blue Cross, Dogs Trust and Guide Dogs.

National Pet Wellness Month is a chance to celebrate the importance of giving pets the care, companionship and support they need to live happy and healthy lives - while shining a light on the organisations working tirelessly to make that possible. ❤️

Through our fundraising, we’re proud to play a part in supporting the vital work of our charity partners, helping them continue to make a difference to animals and the people whose lives they touch.

From protecting vulnerable cats and dogs to supporting assistance dogs and helping animals find loving futures, every fundraising effort can help contribute to a bigger impact.

Check your breasts. It could save your life. 📢

We need your help this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Share this post and spread the word, to get everyone checking their breasts.

Anyone can get breast cancer, and 1 in 7 women in the UK will develop it in their lifetime. But when it's found early, treatment is much more likely to be successful.

So get into the habit of checking yourself regularly. It's as simple as TLC.
- Touch your breast
- Look for changes
- Check anything new or unusual with a GP

Bringing our teams together 🤝

A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Field and Team Managers to Head Office.

Getting everyone together in one place provided a great opportunity to connect, share experiences, discuss ideas and strengthen the relationships between our field teams and Head Office.

We’re proud of the people who represent our business every day, and it’s always great to have the opportunity to spend some time together outside of the usual routine.

Thanks to the team for making the trip - we look forward to the next one!
