Do you want to play a role in promoting the independence of a young adult who is passionate about travel and attending events?
Are you looking to join a support team who are part of a family home?
We are seeking to recruit support workers who will offer a personal assistant and carer role.
Duties can vary, however, the key roles and responsibilities will include:
• One to one care and support in all aspects of daily life/routines
•Personal care
•Moving and assisting
•Medication support
•Cooking, cleaning, general housekeeping and completing errands
•Occasional travel within and outside the UK
Essential skills/values:
•Maintaining confidentiality and discretion
•Being respectful and considerate
•Has a reliable means of transport regardless of weather conditions
•Commitment and consistency
•Able to listen, take direction and communicate effectively
Desirable skills (but not essential):
•Has experience or knowledge in health and social care
•Is flexible to change in routine/working hours
•Resident local to the Port Glasgow or surrounding areas
Available hours:
•Mornings: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 8:30am
•Evenings: Monday - Friday 4pm - 10pm
•Weekend Mornings: Saturday 9am - 2pm Sunday 9am - 2pm
•Weekend Evenings: Saturday 8pm - 12pm Sunday 8pm - 12pm
As you will be joining a team, there will be a level of flexibility around working days/hours. Weekend shifts would rotate 2-3 out of 4 per month. Part time, full time and bank positions available.
Pay rate:
•£12 per hour
•Holiday pay and pension scheme
