We're looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our brand-new nursery in Nottingham's NG5 area! 🌟

This is an incredible opportunity to shape the vision and direction of a new childcare setting from the ground up. You will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children, while leading a dedicated team of early years professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery.

Ensuring compliance with all Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.

Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing staff team.

Managing the nursery's budget and resources effectively.

Building strong relationships with parents and the wider community.

Creating and implementing a high-quality curriculum that supports children’s development.

We're looking for someone who has:

A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).

Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a nursery setting.

A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to providing the best possible start for every child.

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Location: NG5, Nottingham

- Develop and implement individualised Care Plans for each young person, ensuring their involvement and that of their family or advocate.
- Collaborate with Social Workers and Care Staff to create and review Care Plans regularly.
- Maintain high standards of care by overseeing reporting staff and fostering a positive environment within the Home.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels in compliance with Care Standards, including roster preparation.
- Lead recruitment efforts and staff training to meet Job Description requirements.
- Evaluate staff performance and assist in disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Facilitate staff meetings and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Support the manager in handling accident and incident notifications as per regulatory guidelines.
- Must have Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
