ILKESTON JOB ALERT - MACHINE OPERATIVES

We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for Machine Operatives for our client in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston.

This is initially a temporary on-going role with a view to becoming permanent. You will be trained across a variety of roles.
This is a semi-skilled role, based in the Ilkeston area.

Duties -
Working within a manufacturing environment, operating machinery (lathes, boring, cutting machines, etc)
Painting and repair of pipes (hand/spray painting)
Using measuring equipment to measure finished products
Working to tolerances and a high level of finish

What we are looking for -
Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment, able to follow instruction- guides/programs is preferred
Previous experience of quality inspection, with a good attention to detail
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred
FLT licence is advantageous
Experience in welding is an advantage
Able to work days and afternoon shifts

What's in it for you -
Working Monday -Friday, days and afternoons
Pay ÂŖ13.80-15.80 per hour
Initially a temporary role, this may become a permanent job

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a part time HR Officer.
Based in Clay Cross, Derbyshire and working for a Manufacturing SME.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing human resources functions, supporting organisational development, and ensuring compliance with employment policies

Duties -
-Assist in staff recruitment by preparing job descriptions, searching for suitable candidates and managing the hiring process.
-Orientate new employees and organise the training and development of existing employees.
-Deal with staff complaints, grievances and implement disciplinary procedure.
-Counsel staff about any problems they may have.
-Ensure company compliance with current laws and regulations.
-Liaise with external HR Consultant.
-Create and maintain employee related policies, procedures and processes.
-Create staff communication and notices.
-Monitor timekeeping and absence records and escalate as per company policy.
-Ensure accurate and proper record keeping of employee information.
-Look after the health, safety and welfare of all employees.

What we are looking for -
- Previous experience in an HR role
- Able to work in a standalone role, dealing with members of staff at all levels within the business, ensuring HR policies are implemented and maintained
-Strong administrative experience with data entry accuracy and organisational skills.

What's in it for you-
- Part time role (2 days per week)
