We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Field Engineer, based in Nottingham.

Based in Nottingham with access to sites across the UK, specialising in testing and inspection of lifting equipment and more. We are looking to employ an engineer to carry out thorough examinations to LOLER and repairs to a wide range of lifting equipment

Duties-
-Visiting sites, carrying out servicing and repairs, testing and certification to lifting equipment.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and adhering to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations.

What we are looking for -
-Full UK Drivers licence.
-Hold a LEEA foundation qualification - this is preferred but not essential
- Ideally you will have engineering experience within lifting, plant, access, forklifts or inspection industries. Willing to stay overnight across the country when required.
-Attention to detail and self motivated
-Able to use laptops/tablet to produce reports
-Able to work overtime when required (some weekends)

- Salary £29k-£35k

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and compassionate Service Coordinator . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily coordination of engineers to various customers .

You will serve as a vital link between customers and engineers, ensuring an excellent level of service. A full time role, based in the NG7 postcode of Nottingham

Duties-
First point of contact for customers
Planning and booking in jobs for engineers
Setting up jobs in our dedicated inspection software
Answering telephone calls and emails
Reviewing and authorising reports
Closing jobs
· Keeping inspection software up to date with job progress
· Assisting engineers with requests for technical information/parts

What we are looking for -
Attention to detail
Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word
Experience within a similar industry preferable e.g. Plant/access hire, engineering
Excellent communication skills and able to prioritise in accordance with customer requirements

What's in it for you -
Permanent full time role.
Hours of work - 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday. 7am - 2pm Friday
Salary £27,000 - £29,000 per annum

ALFRETON JOB ALERT - MAINTENANCE ENGINEER & FACILITIES COORDINATOR

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Engineer & Facilities Coordinator. This role requires the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, site facilities and building services, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the Alfreton facility.

Duties -
· Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment and site facilities.
· Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime.
· Service, repair and maintain machinery, equipment and building services.
· Assist with machinery installations, relocations and factory improvement projects.
· Coordinate building repairs, maintenance activities and refurbishment projects.
· Oversee site services including lighting, heating, utilities and general building maintenance.
· Manage site security systems including fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.

What we are looking for -
We're looking for a practical, hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving equipment reliability and taking ownership of site facilities.
You'll be equally comfortable fault-finding machinery, coordinating contractors, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting improvement projects across a busy manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills & Experience
· NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
· Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
· Good understanding of statutory maintenance requirements including PUWER, COSHH, LOLER and related legislation.

Desirable
· Facilities Management qualification or working towards one.
· Experience leading small maintenance or facilities improvement projects.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
· Experience implementing TPM or Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for Machine Operatives for our client in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston.

This is initially a temporary on-going role with a view to becoming permanent. You will be trained across a variety of roles.
This is a semi-skilled role, based in the Ilkeston area.

Duties -
Working within a manufacturing environment, operating machinery (lathes, boring, cutting machines, etc)
Painting and repair of pipes (hand/spray painting)
Using measuring equipment to measure finished products
Working to tolerances and a high level of finish

What we are looking for -
Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment, able to follow instruction- guides/programs is preferred
Previous experience of quality inspection, with a good attention to detail
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred
FLT licence is advantageous
Experience in welding is an advantage
Able to work days and afternoon shifts

WORKSOP JOB ALERT - FORK LIFT TRUCK DRIVER

We are now recruiting on behalf of our client, based in the Worksop and Harworth areas for Fork Lift Truck Drivers (with Double Handler experience), for an immediate start.

These roles are initially temporary, but may lead to a permanent role. Working days and afternoons on a rotational basis.
The positions are currently available working on a 2 shift rotational basis. The shifts are 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:00 to 22:30, Monday to Friday

Duties-
Working in both a warehouse and yard environment
Loading and unloading vehicles, using a Fork Lift Truck (Counterbalance)
Some manual labour will be required from time to time.

What we are looking for-
An enthusiastic and hard working attitude combined with the ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative.
Forklift truck double handler attachment experience is required
At least two years work experience in a busy warehouse.
Good numeracy skills and able to understand written documentation.
Able to work overtime at short notice and occasional Saturdays, when required.
Able to work days and afternoons on a rotational basis

What's in it for you
Pay £14.62 per hour, plus overtime
Initially temporary, on going work, but may become a permanent role
