Effective from 6th April 2026, mileage rates increased for the first time in 15 years.

Cars and vans went up to 55p for the first 10,000 miles (up from 45p), with motorcycles at 24p and bicycles at 20p per mile.

🌟 Inspiring the Next Generation at Orme Academy 🌟

Yesterday, Recruitment Robin had the privilege of supporting Year 10 students at The Orme Academy with their mock interviews.

It was genuinely inspiring to spend time with so many ambitious young people, hearing about their future aspirations, career goals, and the steps they're already planning to take to achieve them. The confidence, enthusiasm, and determination on display was incredible, and it was a reminder of just how much potential the next generation has.

A special proud moment for our MD Selina came when Matty nailed his first ever interview. The feedback that came back afterwards from the interviewer was extremely positive, highlighting his professionalism, confidence, and approach throughout the interview process. As a team (and his mum!), we couldn't be prouder. 👏

A huge thank you to Orme Academy for inviting us to be part of such an important experience for the students. We thoroughly enjoyed it and left feeling inspired by the talent, ambition, and bright futures ahead of these young people. 🚀
