The Spray Painter will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing tasks within the Paint Department, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.

The role will be responsible for Technical support to the manufacturing test of weapons sub-systems in production and development test and diagnostics of complex weapons at system and Subsystem level

Specific responsibilities include:

Provide Test Engineering support during Design / Development phases from initial concept through to Production Readiness Review and release to Operations.
Support Test Facility introduction and ensure that configuration control of equipment and facilities is in place prior to use, including generating supporting test specifications and operator instructions.

An understanding of RF and microwave technology at subsystem level would be an advantage.
An understanding of Environmental testing (including ESS) would also be an advantage.
