As a multi-disciplinary engineering recruitment company, we provide expertise and experience around the a project lifecycle including engineering design, procurement, system integration, project management and manufacturing. We were formed in 2018 and through building good relationships across the North West we are now ready to expand.

We are currently looking for ambitious and sales driven individuals to join us as Trainee Recruitment Consultants. No prior recruitment experience or qualifications are required for this position, instead we are looking for individuals who display these values: passionate about people, ambitious, insightful, expert and innovative.

The role

As a Trainee Recruitment consultant you will source candidates to place into temporary and permanent Engineering & Manufacturing assignments in the North West & Nationwide

Taking ownership of job advertising and posting
Completing candidate registration
Identifying and developing opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Verifying documentation such as qualifications and right to work
Gaining market information
Ensuring you send the right candidates to the right jobs
Account management
Warm sales calls – lapsed clients
Client and candidate generation through social media channels

We are seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join an exciting FMCG production business. With the support and backing from upper management and those in your team, this position gives the successful candidate the opportunity to take real ownership of problems and generate innovative solutions.

Job role

The role involves working as part of a very proactive maintenance team who pride themselves on their ability to not only find a quick solution to a problem to maintain production but to provide long term solutions to prevent the re-occurrence of an issue. You will be involved in both preventative and reactive maintenance and play a key role in production line improvements. You will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with the production team is a must.

Duties

To cooperate in the mechanics of a continuous improvement environment.
To carry out duties that might reasonably be requested by the management team.
To fully understand the Personal Hygiene Policy, Health & Safety rules and regulations of the Company. To take reasonable care for the Health & Safety of self and others who may be affected by your acts or omissions related to your work.
To ensure minimal down time is experienced through effective ppm and fault finding techniques.
To ensure changeovers are carried out effectively and efficiently within the time scale allowed. Ensure a right first time operating system is followed.
To carry out specific maintenance to procedure ensuring down time is kept to a minimum.
To ensure spares are ordered in the appropriate manner.
To be proactive in the reporting of errors and or non-conformance to standards of machinery operation.
To maintain all safety devices and follow procedure for their operation. Report any malfunctions or misuse as a matter of urgency.
Who we are looking for

The successful candidate with have a positive and professional attitude, and have the mind set of both fixing a problem but also finding solutions to stop it from happening again. A time served apprentice within an electrical discipline is essential to this role with some good basic mechanical fault-finding skills. You will be very proactive and have a real passion for using your engineering skills on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have experience within the food FMCG production or similar fast paced, diverse industry. You will thrive off a challenge and have an attitude that will be an overall benefit to the company. Commitment and the desire to achieve excellence is essential with the company constantly driving to succeed.

You have to be eligible to work and live in the UK.

You will be provided with the backing and help needed to take real ownership of the tasks you become involved with. The company has a low turnover of employees and many stay for many years.
