What a weekend at Download Festival! 🤘🎪

Our first camping show of the season, and it did not disappoint. We had 19 managers and 600+ bar staff on the ground across the weekend, and the feedback has been fantastic.

None of it happens without the right people in the right places, so a huge thank you to our incredible onsite staffing team, who worked tirelessly to make it all run smoothly. A massive shoutout to

Carleen Jackson, Christiana Ilonwah, Craig Halliday, Emily Geater, Grace Flaherty, Jade Hunt, Kevin Agyepong, Khaleed Olanrewaju and Sabri Salum. You were brilliant, every single one of you.

It is week 4 of festival season! ☀️🎪

The office team have done an incredible job getting everything in place, and now it is over to our brilliant onsite staffing team to go onsite and do what they do best.

This week we are at Download Festival, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Malahide Castle and Live at Lincoln Castle.

Recently, we welcomed our Senior Onsite Staffing Team to HQ for a couple of pre-summer training days, and it was great to get everyone in one room ahead of what is set to be a really busy season! 🙌

Over the two days, we ran through our updated processes, staff welfare, an event-by-event breakdown of what's to come, and more!

Festival season is officially here! 🎪

We have teams working across BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, FLY Glasgow, Run Away Festival Chelmsford and Run Away Festival Sandown this weekend.

We caught up with Lydia, our Head of Staffing and People Operations, to hear her thoughts on week one. Here's what she had to say...

"Our team are ready for week one, and it's brilliant to be back at festivals doing what we do best. I couldn't be more excited to see everyone out there representing hap Flexi. A huge shoutout to the office staffing team as well, all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to get us to this point doesn't go unnoticed. Here's to a brilliant season ahead."

Great events don't happen without great people!

Last weekend, we supplied bar staff to Queens Park Spring Weekender, and the feedback we received on our team was brilliant. We work hard to make sure the right people are in the right place, choosing local staff whose experience matches what the event requires.

It's been a busy few weeks at hap Flexi!👀

We released our two festival posters for the 2026 season, and the response has been brilliant. The engagement on our staff socials has been incredible, with loads of team members already applying for festivals and events through our website.

We also welcomed Jenny Seymour back to the team as Head of Operations. She's already settled in and is working closely with Imogen Thomas and Chloe Bush to get our onsite operations team and managers ready for a very busy festival season.

Behind the scenes, Lydia Tattersall and Charlotte Whitton have been busy conducting interviews for our summer office team. Every summer, our team grows, and we're really looking forward to welcoming some new faces alongside some familiar ones returning to the office.

On the back of the festival poster launch, our onboarding team, Aaron Dimmick, Olivia Unwin & Daniel Yates, have also been busy with a huge wave of applications from people keen to join the hap Flexi team.

And of course, it hasn't all been work! We enjoyed a team pizza lunch and a very special baby shower in the office for Charlotte Whitton and Gabrielle Prior. Wishing you both all the very best as you head off on maternity leave 🎉
