Ideal Recruit are hiring warehouse operatives to join our client ASDA based in Warrington – Omega Park.

This is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate who's looking for a full time job and a permanent contract after 3 months with one of the greatest food distribution centre in England.

Shifts available:
AM Shift: 06:00 to 14:00
PM Shift: 14:00 to 22:00
NIGHT Shift: 22:00 to 06:00

5 DAYS OUT OF 7 DAYS - must be available mainly on FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY!

Pay Rates:
£13.00 Morning shift
£14.98 Afternoon shift
£15.04 Night shift

- Overtime rates available after 40 hours.
- Fully paid 3x breaks (30min, 2 x 10 mins)
- On-site Car Park
- On-site Canteen & Breakout areas

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for well-established client based in Lutterworth.

The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with average 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.

The position requires availability on weekends, with additional work available during weekdays. Driver must be able to start shifts between 1:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

Rates of Pay: PAYE

The rate applies for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the rate will increase, and it will increase again after 27 weeks.


Day rate midweek £20.00 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £26.92 p/h
Weekend: £22.00

Afternoon rate midweek £22.57 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £29.49 p/h
Weekend: £24.57

Night rate midweek £24.02 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £30.94 p/h
Weekend: £26.02

Additional Information:
Paid assessment is required.
Fully paid breaks.
Holiday entitlement will be accrued during employment.


You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
- HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
- At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver
- Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred.
- Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements

This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team where you’ll play a key role in helping clients find the right people for their warehouse operations.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with management to understand recruitment needs and client requirements
Supporting our clients by delivering a high-quality recruitment service
Sourcing candidates using a range of tools (CV databases, job boards, open days, etc.)
Managing the full recruitment process, from initial contact through to onboarding
Registering new candidates and ensuring all compliance is up to date
Supporting the team with general recruitment administration
What we’re looking for:

A motivated and reliable individual with a positive attitude
Someone proactive, organised, and responsive
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Willingness to learn and grow within a developing company
