Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for well-established client based in Skelmersdale & Warrington.

The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with average 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.


Rates of Pay: PAYE (including holiday pay).


FROM 1st NOVEMBER TO 13th DECEMBER

Day rate £18.88 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £26.63 p/h

Afternoon rate £21.50 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £29.26 p/h

Night rate £23.03 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £30.78 p/h

FROM 13th DECEMBER TO 3rd JANUARY

Day rate £20.00 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £27.38 p/h

Afternoon rate £22.62 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £30.38 p/h

Night rate £24.15 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £31.90 p/h


From 1 December to 3 January, drivers who work a weekend shift will receive a £1 hourly premium for all hours worked during that week.


Additional Information:
Paid assessment is required.
Fully paid breaks
Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
- HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
- At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver
- Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred.
- Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements

CLASS 1 (C+E) DRIVERS
Permanent, Full-Time – Any 5 out of 7 days
Days and nights available
PAYE Rates:
Days: £17.08 per hour
Nights: £18.55 per hour

Requirements:
Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 experience
Valid C+E licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card
No more than 6 penalty points

CLASS 2 (CATEGORY C) DRIVERS
Permanent, Full-Time – Any 5 out of 7 days

Start Times:
Afternoons: 14:00 – 16:00
Nights: 23:59 – 03:00

PAYE Rates:

This is stable, year-round employment with consistent work on a Monday to Friday basis, day shifts only.

You will be working with a well-established and reputable company based in Manchester.

All successful candidates will complete a paid, week-long induction and training before starting work.

This role is ideal for reliable drivers looking for long-term, secure employment with regular hours and competitive pay.

Pay rate (PAYE):

Working hours:
