A welcoming family in NW2 seeks an experienced, caring, and organised afternoon nanny to care for their two children, starting 14 July. 30-40hpw & £20-£22 gph doe.

The Ideal Candidate: Has previous nanny experience with school-aged children (B5 & G8) | Is calm, patient, and kind | Thrives in a fast-paced family environment | Is highly organised, proactive, and reliable | Is comfortable preparing vegetarian meals | Is happy to work independently and use their initiative | Holds a full, clean driving licence and is a confident driver
📝 The role can be offered on either a part-time (around 30 hours) or full-time (up to 40 hours) basis for the right candidate.
📍 West Hampstead, NW2 | Afternoon Nanny (Part-Time or Full-Time)
📆 Start Date: 14th July | Long-term position with a friendly and respectful family
⌛ Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 12:00/1:00 pm – 8:00 pm
🏠 Hours: 30–40 hours per week (depending on the successful candidate’s preference and availability)
💰 Salary: £20–£22 gross per hour
Minimum role requirements:
✅ In-role, age-specific experience required and strong references
✅ eDBS and paediatric first-aid training in place
✅ Excellent communication & organisational skills
🚙 A confident driver is required – an automatic duty car is provided
💼 School pick-ups ✔️ Driving the children to and from after-school activities ✔️ Preparing healthy snacks and cooking a vegetarian family dinner ✔️ Supporting with homework ✔️ Supervising the children’s evening routine, including bath time ✔️ Running occasional family errands ✔️ Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised ✔️ Providing a fun, nurturing, and engaging environment after school ✔️
