MATERNITY NURSE OR NANNY WITH NEWBORN EXPERIENCE

ROLE:

A professional family with a 3 month old baby and 4 year old boy, living in Islington. Mum is on maternity leave until end May or beginning June and is looking for a maternity nurse or nanny with newborn experience to help mainly with the 3 month old baby routine until May or June 2022.

• Duties: setting up a routine for the 3 month old baby, bringing the baby to mum for breastfeeding, changing the baby, winding, settling in, taking care of the baby’s laundry, keeping the nursery tidy and organised, help with other tasks, so that mum can rest and recover, taking care of the 4 year old boy, help with cooking for mum, promoting relationship with the other sibling and new addition

• Requirements: experienced in new-born baby care, able to take some night covers too, calm, joyful with children, organised and flexible person

• Working schedule: 3 or 4 days per week for 9 or 10 hours

• Start Date and Duration: January or beginning February 2022 until end May or beginning June 2022

• Pay: depending on experience

ITALIAN SPEAKING LIVE IN/OUT NANNY IN LONDON ISLINGTON

A lovely professional British-French-Italian family living in London Islington (near St Pancras and Holborn) is looking for an Italian speaking nanny to take care of their 3 month old boy and his 4 year old brother. Ideally a live in arrangement.

Typical everyday nanny duties:
- morning: preparing the 4 year old boy for school with drop offs 8.30 - 9 am, duties include waking him up, dressing up, preparing breakfast, dropping off
- after morning school run: help the mum with the baby boy, entertaining the baby, changing nappies and cooking one meal per day
- in the afternoon: picking the older boy from school, helping him with homework, spending quality time with him, organising educational activities, preparing dinner for him

The mum is on maternity leave until end May/early June 2022, so the child charge will be shared (assisting and supporting the mum) until then and then from June onwards the role will be taking care of both children sole charge.

Ideal nanny: experienced with the same or similar aged children, is understanding, active, loving and joyful but who can also be strict and firm when needed and can impose boundaries.

Salary: £600-700 gross per week for a live in position (live out salary negotiable)

The family travels a lot, so to secure 20 or 25 hours/week, they can offer additional work at their swimming pools (locally).

DUTIES: general childcare duties with a 14 month old baby girl, changing nappies, feeding, taking for walk, taking care for her well-being, some house work when baby sleeps such as tidying up, cleaning bathroom and bedsheets once a week (no ironing).

WORKING HOURS 20 or 25 hours per week, 5 days a week, from 8 or 9 am until 2 pm. The family can also offer flexible, extra hours with work such as meet and greet the visitors (other families) at their family’s local business (swimming pool facilities).

Salary: £14 gross/hour
