13 years ago, I took a leap and started Stanton Miller Recruitment. 🤍

I had no investors.

No roadmap.

No guarantee it would work.

Just a belief that people deserved careers they genuinely loved, and that clients deserved people they could truly trust.

Fast forward 13 years…

✨ An international executive search and private staffing company.

✨ Supporting clients across the UK, Europe, Canada, the US, the Middle East, Australia, Asia and Africa.

✨ Connecting everyone from housekeepers, nannies and private PAs to Chiefs of Staff, Managing Directors and CEOs with incredible opportunities.

But the biggest achievement has never been the business.

It’s the people.

The clients who put their trust in me.

The candidates whose lives changed.

The friendships built along the way.

The lessons learnt through success, failure, resilience and starting over.

This next chapter feels different.

Over the coming weeks, I’d love to share more of the story behind Stanton Miller—and behind me.

The highs.

The lows.

The lessons.

The journey.

Because behind every business…

…there’s a very human story.

I’ve been speaking to so many people recently who are feeling stuck.

The market is starting to turn and it’s looking much more positive than it did last year, which is encouraging. But I also know that for many of you, the process still feels confusing, frustrating and at times quite demoralising.

Some of you don’t know where to look next. Some aren’t hearing back from agencies. Others are struggling to get beyond interview stage, or wanting a career change but not knowing where to start or how to make that transition.

After more than 20 years in recruitment, I understand just how overwhelming this can feel.

Helping people navigate these moments has always been a huge part of why I do what I do. I love being able to support as many people as possible through Stanton Miller Recruitment, but I also know I can’t always get to everyone in the way I’d like.

That’s why next month I’ll be opening a limited number of one-to-one support spaces for those who want tailored guidance, honest advice and support with what comes next.

I’ll share availability next week, so keep an eye on this space.

To the ones holding it all together — the mums spinning plates, the founders wearing every hat, the ones showing up even when it feels like there’s nothing left in the tank… I see you.

I’ve worked for myself since I was 21, building a business while raising twins on my own — and I know how lonely that juggle can feel sometimes.
