🚀 Vertikal Days is almost here!

The Construction Plant-hire Association team is all set for exhibiting at Newark Showground tomorrow and Thursday for two packed days of all things plant, cranes and lifting.

Come and find us, say hello to the team and put your skills to the test on our simulator! 🎮

It’s always a great event for catching up with members, meeting people from across the industry and seeing the latest developments in the sector.

🎄 Help bring a little Christmas joy to children in Ukraine this year.

For the fifth consecutive year, The Plant and Hire Aid Alliance is bringing the industry together to collect Christmas gifts for displaced Ukrainian children living close to the front line.

The Alliance, chaired by Jeremy Fish of Ardent Hire Solutions, are
doing a sterling job supporting those affected by the war, and this is a brilliant opportunity for businesses and individuals across our industry to get behind them and make a difference.

There are several ways you can help:

🎁 Donate a gift - buy, wrap and label a Christmas present with the item, suitable age range and whether it is for a boy or girl.

💷 Make a donation - helping to purchase gifts and contribute towards the considerable transport costs.

🙌 Volunteer - around 180 volunteers are needed for the gift-wrapping day at Claydon High School in Ipswich on 28 November.

The gifts will then be collected by Rotary International and distributed directly to communities, schools, hospices and homes living in the shadow of the war zone.

Every gift, donation and helping hand can make a difference.

Welcome to the Construction Plant-hire Association team, Mel Edwards!

We’re delighted to welcome Mel Edwards to the CPA team in a new role as Training and Skills Support Manager.

In this member-focused role, Mel will support CPA members with their training, recruitment and funding needs, while also helping to drive our work promoting careers and opportunities across the plant-hire sector.

Mel brings extensive experience from CITB and CPA member Falcon Cranes, with a strong background in training, certification, funding and supporting employers with skills requirements.

We’re looking forward to Mel working closely with our members and helping them make the most of the training and skills opportunities available.

We had a brilliant day yesterday at the beautiful Ratho Park Golf Club in Edinburgh, with great golf, good company and plenty of opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues.
