Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
To enable service users to lead as active and independent lives as possible by providing holistic and personal care.
To promote the choice to service-users in their daily living by providing care that meets care home essential standards and supports happy living for the years ahead.
Maintain and complete accurate documentation of all care and support undertaken. Recognize, document, and report any changes in the care plan, and participate in customer reviews as required
Undertake key worker duties, building relationships with customers, families, and professionals.
Required Experience
Health and safety in the workplace.
Manual handling procedures.
Safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Food hygiene.
Some knowledge of older people and their illnesses is desirable but not essential.
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection within a care setting.
Qualifications and mandatory training
Care level 2 diploma/NVQ2
DBS- Must be registered on updated service
SKILLS
Commitment and passion to provide high-quality care.
Strong interpersonal and empathy skills.
Approachable attitude.
Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
