Quick question for every property agency owner and branch manager reading this.
When did you last ask a young member of your team what they actually need? ⬇️

Not what you think they need.
Not what worked when you started out.
What they actually need right now in 2026.

Because I speak to candidates and clients across the property industry every single day and the pattern I keep seeing is the same. Agencies losing good young people and blaming the generation rather than asking the harder question.

I wrote about this a while back and the response told me it hit a nerve.

If your retention of younger staff is not where you want it to be, the answer is probably not who you are hiring. Could it be what they are coming into?
