I want to share the two things that are costing good candidates opportunities without them even realising it.

Number one. No location on the CV.

In property, geography matters enormously. If I cannot tell where you are based or where you are willing to work, I cannot match you to the right role. This one small thing can move your CV straight into the yes pile.

Number two. No personal statement.

A few lines at the top telling me why you want this role, what you bring and what excites you about this opportunity makes a huge difference. You do not need perfect experience. You need to give me context.
