💡 85% say no!
A recent international survey of 10,000 workers found that 85% of employees are unhappy with an ‘open plan’ office environment (defined as a location you travel to work in that is provided by your employer and shared with others), and struggle to concentrate in it, with 54% of those saying that their environment is too distracting.
Now, we aren’t offering an opinion on this (each business works differently), we are simply sharing information……but here is how we work best at Lily Shippen.
✔️ The team are all fully remote as our core model.
✔️ The team travel into London and Manchester offices (our two base locations), to suit them, their diaries, and their preferences.
✔️ Both base locations provide private work spaces, quiet work spaces, and open plan work spaces.
✔️ All ‘in person’ team meetings are arranged with collaboration of the full team, ensuring to accommodate everyone’s commute and lifestyles. No meeting is ‘issued’ without collaborative planning.
