Now Hiring: PSD Team Leader (Local National)
Location: Baghdad, Iraq
Al-Burhan Security (ABS) are actively seeking English speaking highly skilled and experienced Local National PSD Team Leaders to join our security operations in Baghdad.
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our operations, ensuring high standards of protection for clients and assets at all times.
Role Overview:
As the PSD Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the protective security detail, ensuring all activities aligned with the security plan and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the safety of the client and supporting the operational team in a high-risk environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Command and control of the PSD team to ensure the client's security and safety.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Train and prepare the PSD team to maintain high standards of readiness and effectiveness.
• Manage and maintain all team equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are suitable and sufficient for the tasks.
• Conduct operations in accordance with client requests without compromising safety or security.
Vital Qualifications:
• Level 3 Qualification in Close Protection.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct PSD Team Leader experience in Iraq with a private security company. Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Command and control experience in a security setting.
• Competence in handling fi****ms with relevant certifications.
• First Person on the Scene – Intermediate certification.
• Possession of a valid driving license.
• Cleared MOI vetting process.
• In-depth knowledge of local operational practices and regulations.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English.
