For most of us, travelling is restricted to a few weeks each year to meet family and friends, or for a short break from the stress of daily life. On a full time job it's not possible to travel all the time, but the best alternative is to appreciate every moment of new experiences each time we travel. I wish to share with you a few of my own exper

SITES ET SONS DES VOYAGES DANS LE MONDE :
Pour la plupart d'entre nous voyager est limité à quelques semaines et ce, pour aller voir des amis et la famille ou à avoir une coupure avec le stress quotidien. Avec un emploi à temps plein, il n'est pas possible de voyager souvent. Mais la meilleure alternative est de profiter des nouvelles expériences à chaque fois qu'on voyage. Portuguese Ceylon (Portuguese: Ceilão Português; Sinhala: පෘතුගීසි ලංකාව; Tamil: போர்த்துக்கேய இலங்கை) is the name given to the territory on Ceylon, modern-day Sri Lanka, controlled by the Portuguese Empire between 1597 and 1658. Portuguese presence in the island lasted from 1505 to 1658.

"Designed by the architect Cottinelli Telmo and the sculptor Leopoldo de Almeida, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos was erected for the first time in 1940, in an ephemeral form and integrated into the Portuguese World Exhibition.
In 1960, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the death of Infante D. Henrique, the Standard was rebuilt in concrete and rose stone from Leiria, and the sculptures in limestone from Sintra.
In 1985 it was opened as the Discoveries Cultural Center. Architect Fernando Ramalho remodeled the interior, providing the Padrão with a viewpoint, auditorium and exhibition rooms."
