We are on the lookout for experienced SIA license holding security staff and none SIA licensed event stewards. We have a number of huge events taking place this summer, including festivals, and live staged family events, throughout the Northern regions. You must be at least 18 years old and ideally, you will

have previous stewarding or customer care experience,(However not essential) an aptitude to working with the public, a friendly, approachable and professional manner, the ability to think on your feet and most important be flexible with your time. What we offer you is:

Duties include covering the front desk, routine patrols, report writing and dealing with contractors.

Must have a valid SIA license
Have the right to work in the UK

Gallowglass Security is seeking hardworking and proactive Security Officers. We can offer work across multiple sites in the London and Manchester Area. You will be responsible for access control, patrolling and maintaining the security of people. Your role will vary depending on the event/site you will work for, being at a private event, hotel, site security, etc.

ESSENTIALS:

Valid SIA license
Right to Work in the UK

Job description
Security/ Traffic marshal
Duties: Control the movement of all site traffic, divert delivery vehicles to loading bays and take delivery notes, ensure all pedestrian routes are safe.
Roles and responsibilities:
Role:
- Manage workplace transport by directing the movement of all vehicles on the site, weather they are in process of loading, unlading, parking, moving etc.
- Checking the appropriateness of vehicles and the competence of the drivers accessing the site
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles. This would include things like:
- Making sure the path of travel is clear and safe before a manoeuvre begins;
- Walking ahead of the vehicle, clearing any obstructions from its path, whilst looking out for anything that could cause and obstacle or be a distraction to the driver;
- Being in a safe position where they can be clearly seen and easily communicate with the driver;
- Watching out for other people in the area as well as other vehicles and obstacles;
- Ensuring that activities like loading, unloading, tipping, etc., are carried out safely.
- Reporting any concerns, H&S issues to the site team leader.
• Hours: Mon-Fri 0700-1800
• Pay rate: £12
• For 4 months commencing 04 October
• Employment: temporary, PAYE
• PPE provided
