nimbl are recruiting on behalf of their client, an award-winning creative experiences agency, we are looking a UK based (Senior) Account Manager to re-locate and join the Australian team as a senior part of the Melbourne office. It is a truly unique opportunity for the right person looking to fast-track their career within an integrated marketing agency.

Title: Senior Account Manager

Salary: $80-85K plus relocation costs including their flight, first week’s accommodation & transfers

Reporting to: Managing Partner

What is the purpose of this role? To be the primary lead for the day to day Client Account Management responsibilities of our service offering. Understand what success looks like for clients and how best to deliver against it, protecting both client and internal ambitions.

As an integrated agency the work is across experiential, digital activation (virtual atoms), sponsorship activation, content/influencer & shopper for a range of fantastic clients including Kraft Heinz, Mondelez, CUB / Asahi and DET Vic Gov. Plus the opportunity to support the growth of the sports division activating at Melbourne Cup, Grand Prix, AFL and Australian Open tennis

What are the core responsibilities?

Client Account Management

Understands how the client’s objectives and proposed brand experience solution influences the project management parameters of time, target and budget.
Takes a solution focused approach to changes in project requirements. Able to make and communicate necessary changes in order to best deliver against a client’s KPIs, ensuring that communication is timely and appropriate both internally and externally
Utlilises the project management matrix in order to understand both their individual responsibilities and accountabilities along with the wider team.
Understands the importance of accountability working tirelessly to ensure that the business and client objectives are upheld

Business Performance

Understand the basic principles of budgeting and P&L in order to maintain target profitability on projects
Works in spirit of time is money applying appropriate levels of effort to tasks in hand so not to over invest
Demonstrates negotiation skills when working with suppliers to ensure we achieve the best price possible

People Performance

Is able to manage upwards ensuring that the working relationship with Line Manager and productive, this includes open, regular communication. Understanding what and when information needs to be shared
Demonstrates a flexible, Positive, Open and Calm attitude
Responsible for the performance of more junior members of the team ensuring they have clear direction and understanding of their workload. Provides regular feedback on performance, formal PADRs and training and development initiatives

Does this role contribute to other areas of the business?

The majority focus for this role is Project Management, however we would expect this level to begin to understand opportunities for Business Development and able to feed that back to their Line manager / Business Director
