The main challenges the British companies face in 2023.
If you have an in-house team in the UK then you have probably experienced some of the challenges the labor market poses to employers.
Here are some brief conclusions based on our observations.
We would be grateful if you would help us narrow this list down, so please vote for the 3 challenges you feel most strongly about.
1) After Brexit - reality - a mass exodus of the skilled staff;
2) The reality of the economic crisis - the need for constant salary increases due to the rising cost of living;
3) Post COVID reality - frequent sickness, preventative health care and as a consequence - low staff attendance in the office;
4) Strong employee attitude towards employer - the British law is mostly on the side of employees;
5) Weak motivation of the staff, unwillingness to get into the essence of the work and be committed to one company for a long time;
6) a lack of candidates with the decent general level of education and necessity to put many efforts to the staff trainings and supervision;
