Here at Staff Members, we are striving to help as many people as possible gain employment.
We need a Human Resources manager volunteer who will work from home to help us setup and streamline the HR department.
• This is a volunteer role that can lead to a paid job.
• You will work from home
• Provide counselling on policies and procedures
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, and managing the hiring process
• Develop training and development programs
• Assist in performance management processes
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Maintain employee records (attendance, HR data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Knowledge of HR functions (benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Strong ethics and reliability
• HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
Additional Information

Time Commitment: The minimum commitment is an average of 10 hours per week including a weekly one on one meeting with supervisor.
