Registered Manager Job Description
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of a domiciliary care facility
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Manage staff and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide quality care to clients
- Monitor client care plans and ensure that they are being followed by staff
- Maintain accurate records of client care, staff schedules, and financial transactions
- Develop and manage budgets for the facility
- Ensure that medication administration is done in accordance with regulations and standards
- Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in home care management or a related field
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills
- Knowledge of medication administration regulations and standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage staff effectively and provide leadership in a team environment
