💡New WorkL Answers Episode!

Navigating difficult conversations at work can feel like a high-stakes negotiation, so why not learn from someone who has handled the real thing?

In our latest WorkL Answers episode, Communication Coach and Former Hostage Negotiator Nicky Perfect - The Communication Coach shares her expert strategies for communicating challenging information without the conflict.

From stripping away the emotion to choosing the right medium for the message, Nicky breaks down how to turn confrontation into collaboration.

Key Takeaways:

🧠 Focus on behavior - Keep it logical and objective. Talk about the "what," not the "feel."
🗣️ Choose face-to-face - Email and text often lose the nuance of tone and body language. Real-time talk stops misinterpretation.
🧊 The Iceberg Effect - The surface issue is rarely the real problem. Dig deeper to find the root.

Are Hybrid Workers Really More Engaged at Work?

Our 2025 data clearly indicates that hybrid and remote work arrangements are linked to higher employee engagement.

Employees who work from home part of the time report the highest engagement levels at 77%, followed closely by those who work remotely full time at 76%. In contrast, employees who rarely or never work from home report an engagement score of 72%.

This five percentage point difference suggests that even partial flexibility has a meaningful impact on engagement.
