Currently casting girls for a west end musical dates May-October 2020. Children must be 9 years old by May next year and live within an hour of Charing Cross. Under 4'8" with a playing age of 9-12 years old. Strong vocals required. Auditions held in London in December. Please email [email protected] ref: "Child's full name_strong singers"

If your child is travelling outside of the UK and is engaged on a paid stills or modeling shoot you absolutely require an International Performance Licence. If you work abroad as a child model without a licence you are breaking the law.
..No person having responsibility for any child shall allow him, nor shall any person cause or procure any child, to go abroad for the purpose of singing, playing performing, or being exhibited, for profit, or working as a model, where payment in respect of his doing so, other than for defraying expenses, is made to him or to another person...

Regulation 7(2) (a) permits a child to be absent for employment in a performance, but only under the authority of a licence that has been granted by the Local Authority. Section 37(7) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 says that a child who is absent to take part in any licensed performance “shall be deemed to be absent with leave”. Under the Regulations, such absence must be recorded in the school register as authorised under registration code: C. If tutored off site it is coded code: B.

eg. 11% of total time covered by licence which would show 89% is still classed as 100% attendance
