We’re absolutely buzzing to have won Employer of the Year at the Casual Dining Awards 2026 🎉 our fourth Casual Dining Award in four years, and it feels just as Extra Hot as the first one.

New Casa, same Extra Hot energy 🔥​

Welcome to Nando’s Sutton Oldfields Road! Vinny, the Patrao (General Manager) has been bringing the fire to Nando’s around South London for over 10 years, and now he’s officially open and firing up the grills in our new Sutton restaurant. He gave us the grand tour of the restaurant here 👇​

Vinny’s also been working with Get Me To Work Youth Club - a company which helps young, disadvantaged people in and around Croydon to gain employment. Through them, Vinny hired 10 new Nandocas, all of which are still smashing it 👏​

First-timers and full-timers with a taste of team spirit. ​

Shout out to Katie from our Tech Team who took to the stage at our recent Women in Tech event with the Women Coding Community 🙌 she joined a line-up of incredible women to celebrate their achievements and share the real stories behind the code, and she spilled the sauce on the day:​

“I spoke about my non-traditional route into tech. I’d have loved to hear a story like this when I was at school, or in hospitality or on my way in tech in the bootcamp. Not just to know it could be done but to know that interesting, diverse teams do exist.​

“The room was packed full of excited and engaged people! A lot of people told me how moved they were by my story. It was so encouraging and uplifting, and I felt really proud to be a part of the day. A few years ago, if I was offered this opportunity I would have run very, very far from it so it was a big milestone to get up there with some confidence.”

Great to be back at the Hospitality Apprenticeship Showcase in the House of Commons again this year with some of our amazing apprentices, including Fabrizio from our People Team who received a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement 🙌 he told us:
