NEW OPENING:

This April, Caia, a lively new neighbourhood restaurant, wine bar and music venue is opening on Golborne Road, just off London’s famed Portobello Road.

Set over two floors with a capacity of 60, Caia will be fuelled by sustainable, gastronomic and personality driven wines, alongside a list of classic Aperitivo cocktails. With our custom-built open fire cooking range, there’ll be incredible dishes cooked over fire, with a seasonal, ingredient lead focus. We have partnered up with legendary Stranger Than Paradise Records, so you can expect weekly music driven events, played through a state-of-the-art Hifi sound system.

We are here to champion personalities and our ideal candidates will have a passion for casual excellence, storytelling, food, wine, and music. Previous experience is required, and a curious mind is a necessity.

We operate Weds-Sunday so Mondays and Tuesday are off.

Hiring for these roles: Restaurant Manager - Assistant Manager - Floor supervisor - Servers - Head Bartender - Bartenders -Barback Part-time and full-time roles available. 15-45 hours per week.

Salaries ranging between 26k-40k.

Role Overview:
Demonstrate great knowledge of fresh ingredients and their preparation, storage and cookery
Follow daily preparation and cleaning tasks as directed by the Head Chef
Maintain, at all times, the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen
Follow guidelines for ensuring due diligence and allergens management
Support colleagues in kitchen duties to ensure the efficiency of the business and quality of the menu.
Deliver high quality dishes to specification in a timely manner
Demonstrate great communication skills and positive work ethic.
Carry out any other duties as agreed with company management.

About You:
The incumbent must possess a flexible attitude towards work and must be prepared to work on shift basis. This position requires weekend work on a rostered basis. Specific skills and experience desired include:
• Experience of dough preparation and bakery is desirable, although not strictly required.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and kitchen safety
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Relevant technical qualification is advantageous, although not strictly required.
• Must possess a passion for hospitality
