CNC Operator – Night Shift (Permanent, 4-Day Week)
Location: Leicester
Salary: £37,440 per year (£720 per week – full 48 hours paid)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (direct employment)
Start Date: Immediate

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Leicester on a permanent basis from day one. This is a direct role with the company, not agency or temporary work.

You will be operating CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision-engineered components to specification on a fixed night shift. The role offers long-term stability and a four-day working week, giving you a three-day weekend every week.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC milling or turning machines on night shift
- Loading and unloading components safely and efficiently
- Monitoring production runs and making minor adjustments as required
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Following health and safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator (milling or turning)
- Experience using FANUC or similar CNC controls
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

What’s on Offer
- £37,440 annual salary

This is a long-term night-shift role within a busy engineering environment, producing bespoke and batch components to tight tolerances for a range of industrial sectors.
