Liam and Flav had a great day at Highways UK yesterday ! 🚧

They spent the day meeting and chatting to loads of people from across the industry, making some new connections and catching up with a few familiar faces.

They also managed to have a go at a few of the games on the stalls… because it wouldn’t be a day out without a bit of competition 😂

👋 MEET FLAVIO

We’re delighted to welcome Flavio Santoro to So-Recruit as a Senior Permanent Recruitment Consultant.

Flavio joins us with extensive experience in permanent recruitment, particularly across Sales, working with businesses in both the UK and international markets.

His experience goes beyond simply advertising vacancies. Flavio has built his recruitment approach around proactive headhunting, identifying passive talent and developing strong candidate and client relationships, particularly when businesses are looking for people who aren’t necessarily actively searching for their next move.

He has experience supporting growing businesses and start ups with their hiring and understands the importance of getting to know both the person and the business behind every placement.

We’re delighted to welcome Liam Dunn to So-Recruit as a Senior Permanent Recruitment Consultant.

Liam joins us with strong experience in technical and engineering recruitment, having worked across specialist markets including civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure, environmental engineering and BIM.

His experience includes recruiting for a wide range of technical and senior appointments, from specialist engineers through to project, technical and leadership level positions.

Recruitment is starting to move in the right direction. ⬆️

The recruitment market has had a tough couple of years, so it’s good to see some more positive signs coming through.

Permanent hiring is starting to stabilise, temporary vacancies are picking up, and temporary billings are continuing to grow.

And when it comes to construction, the need for good people is still there.
For businesses, that means it can pay to start conversations early rather than waiting until a vacancy becomes urgent and you need someone yesterday.
At So-Recruit, we work with businesses nationwide on both temporary and permanent construction recruitment from labourers and skilled trades through to more senior positions.

It might not be back to where the market was a few years ago, but things are moving in the right direction.

🚨 Project Manager – Construction Opportunity 🚨

We are currently working on a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a construction background to join a growing business.

The role will involve managing projects nationwide, overseeing site teams, carrying out site surveys, managing installations, and working closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Looking for someone with:
• Previous construction project management experience
• CSCS card (essential)
• SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• The flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away during the week when required (up to 4 nights)

💰 Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
