We are working with an OH Provider to source an Occupational Health Technician for a role in Maple Cross, Hertfordshire. This role will support the OH Nurse team at the HS2 Project in Maple Cross with the provision of an occupational health service.
The main duties of the role include:
• Pre-placement medical screening – negative responses.
• Safety critical medicals.
• Screening to include lung function tests, audiometry tests, drug and alcohol screening and night worker assessments.
• Support the development of, and deliver, annual wellbeing program site wide to include monthly campaigns of general and construction related health topics.
• Deliver onsite toolbox talks.
• Deliver Powerpoint presentations.
• Design and prepare supporting material including posters, flyers and handouts.
• Health MOTs and lifestyle advice.

Requirements

We are working with an OH Provider to source a Registered Nurse for an Occupational Health Nurse role in Battersea, London. This role will support the OH Nurse Manager at the Northern Line Extension with the provision of an occupational health service.

You will undertake health checks including safety critical medicals and health surveillance. You will participate in the delivery of a heath program to improve the health and wellbeing of employees. Duties & Responsibilities

Main duties of the role include:

• To provide expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.
• Provide professional, comprehensive and evidence based written reports.
• Provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH.
• Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided and ensure that the correct advice in relation to fitness is communicated, escalating where clinically appropriate.

I am working with an OH provider to source an Occupational Health Technician to join their expanding peripatetic team.

The successful applicant will be required to travel across the whole of the UK, driving a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to client sites in order to deliver health surveillance services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing.
• To undertake health screening procedures, including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis.
• To ensure all medical information is accurately recorded in the occupational health records and passed to the relevant clinical staff.
• To ensure all equipment is serviceable, clean and fit for purpose.

Essential Skills:

• Sound educational background including a good standard of numeracy and written English.
