🌿 Wellness Wednesday
This photo was taken when I was 22 and living in South Korea, working as an English teacher.
Back then, success looked very different to me.
I thought it was all about chasing the biggest salary, climbing the ladder as quickly as possible and constantly looking ahead to the next milestone.
Now, at 31, my definition of success has changed.
Success is working from home and having the flexibility to build a career around my life.
It’s taking my laptop to a sunny café just because I feel like it.
It’s being able to enjoy a slow morning coffee, take a walk when I need a break and create a life that feels balanced rather than rushed.
Don’t get me wrong, ambition still matters. But these days, success isn’t just about what I earn. It’s about how I spend my time and how I feel while doing it.
Funny how the things we thought would matter most often aren’t the things we value most a decade later.
How has your definition of success changed over the years?
