The Supply Planner is responsible for optimizing inventory levels across the supply chain network to meet customer service level requirements. The Supply Planner acts as an interface to manufacturing to maintain supply and solve any supply issues.



Key responsibilities are:



Ownership of B2C stock allocations for the UK market and working closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met.

Supply Plan the brands, place orders upon manufacturing based upon agreed lead times to generate the purchase plan in line with the market financial estimates and inventory budgets.

Report monthly inventory levels against budget / targets and report / implement actions to mitigate billing risks.
Review stock shortages across the network and work closely with the Order Processing Department in China to ensure order schedules are in line with the financial estimates.

Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.

Manage products through their life cycle, ensuring old product is cleared and the replacement product is introduced in line with market expectations.
Support testing of additional supply activities within Vanguard.
Maintenance of inventory strategies in Vanguard.
Ad hoc support to the team wherever needed including inbound container planning, stock reservations and the maintenance of supply master data.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Graduate degree with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role with good experience with and understanding of MRP systems
Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
Strong planning and analysis skills
Good time management with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
