Climate change is a present day reality. Many of us are alert to the threats it poses and now positively engaged in solutions. Renewable energy may not be the totality of the changes we need to make, but it is certainly one of the solutions and is being rapidly embraced.

In 1979 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, was ahead of the times by taking early action for climate change and installing solar panels on the roof of the White House. They were later removed by President Ronald Reagan, but Carter’s leadership and passion for renewables didn’t end there - he is responsible for a solar farm in his hometown of Plains, Georgia which now provides 50% of the towns electricity.

Sam is getting ready to cycle home this afternoon and join the team on Zoom for a Friday afternoon net-z social.
It’s been a productive week and Sam enjoys knowing he can help his own ‘net-z’ goals (outside of connecting technicians to turbines!) by cycling to and from work (it has also helped him keep active since his gym closed).
We are also celebrating 100 of you connecting with us here and continue to be inspired by all of the pictures and videos of over the world we can see here, the behind-the-scenes look at some of the technical work that goes on, and the very interesting facts and figures that the environmental accounts are informing us of. We are happy to be connecting with you here as thank you for following our net-z journey!
