The Charlotte Dove Performing Arts Trust was set up as a small Charity Constitution in October 2013 in loving memory of Charlotte. Since January 2016 the Trust has now become a registered charity. Charlotte had a passion and ambition for dance and the performing arts, this was evident from a young age. Charlotte was training to become a dance teacher and had just begun this journey, when tragicall

y her life was taken. The purpose of the Trust is to provide opportunities for children and young adults (4 to 25 years old) to participate in performing arts activities. Without financial assistance or support this would not be possible for these young people. We also offer support to organisations who offer guidance and opportunities within dance and performing arts. The Trust has already given young children in the local community the opportunity to realise their potential in a variety of ways. Whether this is taking part in weekly dance classes at after school clubs, talent shows or events. Every performer supported by the Trust is encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves through dance and the performing arts, regardless of their abilities. To date the Trust has contributed to various beneficiaries which include young performers looking to pursue careers in the performing arts, a charitable organisation, as well as individuals who want to develop their teaching skills and enhance their careers. The Trust has allowed these individuals to achieve teaching qualifications so that they can pass on their experience and love of performing arts. Funding is offered through the Trust by grants or donations, depending on the needs of the individual. The Trust now has the potential to grow due to increased finance and commitment and would also like to look at the possibility of supporting other charities with similar purposes. We want to continue to support others who share the same passion and dreams that Charlotte had and to give them the opportunity to pursue their dreams and fulfil their potential. Last night I had the pleasure of attending the BoB Awards at the Spotlight Theatre. A fantastic evening celebrating the achievements and contributions of people in our community.

What a fabulous evening we had last Thursday at Talents in Broxbourne at Hertfordshire Studios. It was inspiring to see so many confident and talented young people shining bright up there on the stage ⭐️ A huge well done to everyone who took part.

Congratulations to Annabelle Lewis who was the overall winner and was awarded with a prize from the Trust to pursue her talent.

We look forward to seeing Annabelle, Brooke Doherty and Lewis Seibert perform at the BoB Awards at The Spotlight in March ✨

I am delighted to announce that the Charlotte Dove Performing Arts Trust is working in collaboration with Hertfordshire Studios and Cllr Sherrie McDaid bringing an exciting new initiative to Secondary schools in the Borough of Broxbourne. ‘Talent of Broxbourne’ will be held on 5th February 2026 ✨

Students will have the incredible opportunity to step into the spotlight and showcase their amazing performing arts talents from singing and dancing to comedy, acting, magic and more at their school’s in-house talent shows. This will be their moment to shine!

On the evening of the in-house talent shows, two wonderful students from each school will be chosen to perform at the very first Talent in Broxbourne which is being held at Hertfordshire Studios ✨

At Talent in Broxbourne, students will be chosen to perform at the prestigious BOB awards 2026 held at The Spotlight and the overall winner will also receive support from the Charlotte Dove Performing Arts Trust to pursue their dream and develop their creative skills in whatever discipline they are performing.

I am privileged to be part of the judging panel for these in-house talent shows and look forward to seeing all the brilliant young talent we have across our Borough.

12 years today without you our beautiful Charlotte, in many ways it feels like only yesterday that you were taken from us. 🤍

Every year we try to write something different, but the truth is that there is nothing new we can say, it certainly never gets any easier.

We miss our darling girl every day, more than words can say. We still hurt and feel pain the same as always.

We hosted a Charity Psychic event last Friday. It was a great success and we would like to thank everyone who supported us 💜

We also extend our thanks to the staff at the Cheshunt Golf Club for helping make everything run so smoothly.

A special thank you to Dawn, Medium/ Clairvoyant for entertaining us with a wonderful evening of mediumship.

We are truly grateful for all the support we have received, we wouldn't be able to do it without everyone's generosity ✨

We were delighted to be part of Dewhurst St Mary Primary School's Talent Show last night, an evening full of wonderful performances by so many talented young people! A huge well done to you all!🌟

It was so lovely that we could support this event once again and reward the overall winner with a gift in their chosen performing arts activity.

Congratulations to everyone at Demi Moore school of dancing for putting on such a wonderful show at the weekend. The costumes looked amazing and everyone gave such a brilliant performance ✨🩰

It is such a pleasure to support some of these young people through the Trust and see what
joy dance brings to them all.
