PRK Recruitment is hiring an experienced Registered Manager (or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to step up) to lead a new children’s residential home in Birmingham. This role involves overseeing the Ofsted registration process and managing daily operations to deliver high-quality, child-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the new Ofsted registration process
Manage day-to-day operations of the home
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding requirements
Lead, train, and support staff teams
Manage care plans, risk assessments, staffing, and recruitment
Build relationships with local authorities and external professionals
Drive positive outcomes for children and young people

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children’s residential care
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Full UK Driving Licence preferred

PRK Recruitment is hiring an experienced Registered Manager on behalf of a respected home care provider in Manchester. This role is ideal for a passionate leader committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality care delivery
Recruit, onboard, and train carers while maintaining compliance paperwork
Lead and support care staff and coordinators
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and Greater Manchester framework requirements
Build strong relationships with clients, families, and commissioners
Review care plans, risk assessments, and conduct audits
Drive service improvements and maintain excellent care standards

Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in adult domiciliary care
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, medication administration, mental capacity, and DoLS
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Full UK Driving Licence required

Desirable:
Recent CQC countersigned DBS
Train the Trainer qualification
Safeguarding Adults Level 3

We are currently recruiting Domiciliary Care Workers to support a reputable care provider in the Watford area. This is agency-based work offering flexible shifts to suit your availability, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking adaptable working patterns.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, supporting them to maintain independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
Providing personal care and support with daily hygiene
Assisting with activities of daily living
Supporting with medication administration and reminders
Offering companionship and emotional support
Undertaking light household duties and meal preparation
Promoting independence and enhancing quality of life
Building positive and respectful relationships with service users
Accurately recording observations and liaising with the care team

About the Provider
You will be working with a well-established and highly regarded care provider known for its supportive environment, commitment to staff development, and positive workplace culture.

Requirements
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
Mandatory training (can be provided if required)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
First Aid certification (can be provided if required)
Previous experience in domiciliary or residential care is desirable
Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills

What We Offer
Competitive pay: £13.00 – £15.50 per hour

From today, we’re seeing one of the most significant cost shifts for employers in recent years.

Here’s what’s actually changed:

💷 New National Minimum Wage rates (April 2026):
• 21+ → £12.71/hour (+4.1%)
• 18–20 → £10.85/hour (+8.5%)
• 16–17 & apprentices → £8.00/hour ()

📈 That’s a £1,000+ annual increase for many full-time workers ()

💼 So what does this mean for hiring, recruitment & jobs?

👉 1. Hiring is getting more expensive — fast
