INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS ACCOUNT MANAGER
A salary up to £35,000 will be paid for the relevant experience.
The main stunning office is located on the outskirts of Oxford but this job offers some home based work.
Can be full or part time. Either is an option.
Brand new job role due to expansion.
Your Internal Communication experience will need to be a minimum of 2 years and may have come from working for 1 business or working for an agency in an Internal Communications capacity and now want to join a team that offers without doubt the successful attitude that most desire.
Apple Mac User a must, as well as the competency of using MS Office.
Internal Comms Account Manager is a client-facing role with a large dose of project management and we’ll be looking for distinct starter-finisher characteristics. Additionally, a combination of skills, experience and ambition in any of the following areas would work for our client.
Be a communication specialist who always thinks of their audience, able to combine a strategic narrative and messages with information that helps people do their jobs better
Know – or be hungry to know – about the business of business, the language of commerce and the purpose of strategy
Write. Creatively, accurately and with complete confidence to communicate, entertain and persuade in equal measure. Business topics interest you enough to want to research and integrate them
Don’t be shy. You’ll be working with senior leaders so your ability to influence is crucial
Bring knowledge, creativity, innovative ideas, resilience and energy to ensure clients’ communications agendas are delivered and received in the best possible way
Passion for learning about their clients and their aims is the most important thing; attitude to work will most likely be the defining factor in candidates’ success with us.
Our client is a high performing team, which means they work together and look after each other; they are collectively responsible for everything they deliver to clients. They don’t hang each other out to dry.
In an ideal world...
Candidates will have worked for at least two years in a team in a medium to large organisation. They’ll be used to corporate life (though they may not like it much) and will most likely have worked in strategy, planning, marketing or communications.
They’ll be able to communicate English, directly, accurately. They may have managed a company intranet, published papers or blogs or written newsletters. They’ll have managed meetings.
Important skills
Interpret a client’s brief to determine what they need to do
Manage the process; define the project plan and make sure deadlines are met Produce clear, well-written proposals and reports
Important attributes
Creativity (however this is expressed)
Hunger for learning and personal growth (they'll teach you all they know and support formal training too, if candidates want it)
Flexibility (hours, locations, type of work) Be organised and worship efficiency.
