Good morning,

Tempest will be visiting our school on Wednesday 16th September to take our annual school photographs. Individual photographs and sibling photographs will be available.

📢 Great news for Glasgow families!

A reminder that from tomorrow (12 August) , free school meals will be available to every primary school pupil in Glasgow. With P7 pupils now joining those in P1 to P6 receiving a free school lunch every day.

✅ No sign-up is required. The entitlement will be applied automatically.

Message from the school for Former P7 pupils:

Good Afternoon,

Unfortunately, due to an issue with the supplier, we have still not received the Cleveden School ties.

The supplier has advised that the earliest expected delivery date is 24th August. We completely understand how frustrating this is, particularly with the children starting high school tomorrow, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the delay is outside of our control.

We will remain in contact with Cleveden School and will provide an update as soon as the ties are delivered to them.

✨ End of Year Parent Council Thank You ✨

As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of our families, staff, volunteers and supporters who have helped us raise valuable funds throughout the year.

Every raffle ticket bought, event attended, donation made and hour volunteered has made a real difference to our school community. Because of your support, the Parent Council has been able to fund and contribute towards so many opportunities, experiences and extras for our children.

This year, funds raised have helped provide:

⭐ P7 Leavers’ Hoodies
⭐ P7 Science Centre trip – including transport, snacks and goodie bags
⭐ P7 leavers’ gifts
⭐ Breakfast Club cereals and bars (in addition to the normal 8am Breakfast Club provision)
⭐ Christmas care packs for families
⭐ Monetary support for class stalls at the Christmas Fayre
⭐ Festive support across the school, including Elf costumes for the nativity
⭐ Hot chocolate and milk treats for all children during the festive period
⭐ Christmas books for every child
⭐ Festive party supplies for all children
⭐ Leotards for the dance competition group
⭐ Ice cream van celebration at the end of term
⭐ Lights and sensory items to support learning and wellbeing
⭐ Eid celebrations in every class – including henna, snacks, decorations and much more!

These are more than just purchases, they’ve created memories, supported inclusion, brought joy, and helped make school experiences even more special for all of our children.

Thank you for continuing to support our fundraising events and initiatives throughout the year. Your generosity allow us to keep giving back to the school and creating opportunities that benefit every child.

We’re already looking forward to another exciting year ahead and continuing to work together to support our school community.
